I've been doing this part time since 1995. The extra bucks are too good to pass up. I've been teetering on the brink of wanting to go full time, but then, I've got a good, steady job in the computer biz, which has adequately paid the bills for sixteen years.
My thoughts have been that alot of powerwashing work could disappear if the economy in this country goes further south. Some things could probably wait to be cleaned, at least in the minds of wary consumers.
I've been at near capacity of what myself and three part-time helpers can handle. The next step is to invest in another trailer rig, and get it out full time. It is a big expenditure, and there is no turning back. So for now, I'll keep at it part time, and at least have an ace-in-the-hole.
