I am very new to business but am getting it done with help from my H*tsy dealer and from others in my area and from this BB. I have landed a contract to do exterior cleaning at 16 service stations. First one was done last sunday. 5000 sq. ft. of flat concrete around reaaly dirty retail gas islands and MORE dirty cardlock diesel islands and 170 feet of 4' sidewalk. I invoiced this at 10cents a square foot for the flat work and 40cents a linear foot for the sidewalk.(heavy gum). This first job took myself and a helper 11 hours to do. Much longer than I had thought. Still, my gross revenue was just more than $50.00 per hour. I also can have as many petroleum transports as I want to have at $80 to $100 each. (There are about 40 of the in my area). I will be doing my first two-step job on transports this weekend and know the basics and have all of the right equipment but would appreciate any constuctive input from anyone here. I have learned a lot from this site and look forward to learning much more and I will help anyone in any way that I can. Thank you, Mark Merritt.
