How do you do it?

Dan,

We have an account with 200 trailers that are to be done once a month. But it pushes me to get that done. Because we have other accounts that have a few trailers. The problem is that I have an account pending(pretty sure it is going to happen) that has told me that they were going to put at least 300 trailers on the lot. Granted I don't know how many a week or month they want done. Trailers take up too much time, but you don't want to turn down the account because they have 100 trucks. We have honestly thought about buying a vader or a dynamax if we get this account. But a few people I have talked to say they are a little skeptical. Thanks for your reply and I hope to keep on finding people to talk to.

as far as soap and price just do what everyone else seems to do around here. Take MSDA SHEET or sample to a local chem. co. and have them make it up for you. No shipping and 1/2 the cost. I dont like talking to the local wash guys they give me ideas. I use a red powder soap that i like very much but shipping kills me. Im thinking of going to the chem. guy. Only problem is he will sell it to everyone local.

Washmasters, Add a small amount of liquid concentrated wax to to your soap drum. Two Oz. for every 30 Gal. of premixed soap you run through your Shurflo. This makes the dirt come off much easier, leaves a shine and makes the next cleaning easier. Also if you are not using soft water try a rinse aid in your rinse water, it helps all the way around.

Ron,

First of it I was so blind and dumbfounded......... I failed to tell you to contact Mark @ easy clean......... He can get you the same soap im using now..........I contacted him about this awaile ago and was going to order some from him enstead of my local guy ... so Im sorry to Mark if he read the other post........

Im still going to order from Steve here pretty quick. Just to try something new........The soap Im currently using is called POWERBRITE..... takes 2 >5 gal jugs to make it but it does wonders on aluminum as a matter of fact i dont even carry any acid w/me b/c this product works great on the tanks ..... looks like I always acid ....'em.

Second of all>>>>>>>> I dont take any M.S.D.S sheets to any chem. company to try and get them to make it... I personally think that is wrong.. but thats just me....... If I find a product that works well and still is easy on MY pocket then I tend to go that way. and keep people like Mark,Steve ... in business....
I would'nt want any of my contract people checking out all the p/wer people to get a better price ......... and Im smart enough to know that if they want too I cant do a thing about it.....
Talk with either Mark .... or Steve they can help you more than I can......

Lance,

I hope I dont stir up any controverse (< probably spelled wrong)
But I can wash @ least 50 trailers an hour.. sometimes more I realize there is only so much I can say here so i will try and make it brief..................

I do only 80 to 90 trailers a month and got tired of standing on the ground and also not getting all of 'em done ..... so I made a
"GIZMO" to do it for me ....... now all I do is drive .... and No it's not a vader...I had a web site up for awhile but the calls was to much for me to handle so i took it off......... I didnt want to mass produce this, it takes too much time and I enjoy my time.... If you would like more info e-mail me I think I can send you a pic. If I didnt delete it.........but think I did.......yel I knows I's did....but you can e-mail me to makem sure...short e-mail please....I enjoy my time....anyhow we can controverse then ok....that is if I's still got it....*lol*

Dan,
It sounds like i need to hear more about this. The vader would only wash about 10 an hour. I don't have your email address, but mine is klbray@logantele.com. Your help would be greatly appreciated. All this brushing on these things is turning my arm to jello. Thanks.

For what it is worth, the Vader washes more than ten trailers an hour. It does closer to 16 to 20 trailers an hour. That is black trailers in the heat. I had one. I sold it because I got tired of the breakdowns. In its' defense, I bought it used and I don't think that it was maintained anywhere near properly, and I did not want to spend the time or money to get it where it should have been.

Thanks for the reply Scott. The vader is an awful big investment and are a little scared. We were going to buy one new so we wouldn't buy someone else's trouble. I think that we have found another solution.Thanks.
