How to wash fleets?

I can say that I have never lost an account and a few accounts even said that I was the best pressure washer they have ever seen. Maybe they are just sucking up. The way I see it is if I wash a white truck and go back and rub my finger on a spot and it squeaks and doesn't leave a mark then it is clean. And it can't come any cleaner. Now on the aluminum I have a guy with a pump up and spray that if needed. That may be the only thing that 2 stepping can do for me. But with two stepping you have to go over it what, 2 or three times and then rinse. With someone brushing you go over it once and rinse. I have put two guys that two step out of business too. But it all boils down to who is the most caring about their work and who is the best with the people. For me this way works better because I have two stepped and it isn't as fast as this.

Just wait until ALL your accounts tells you you are the best pressure washer they ever had, then you will be a A-one pressure washer.....ha

Its not hard to figure two guys would be faster than one, like I said the war over 2-stepping and prespraying/brush will never be won. They both work, some do not know how to do the 2-step right as the reason they cann't clean with it.I can clean both ways,,,I 2-step everything,I hardly EVER pick up a brush.I have trucks that have not been brushed in a few years,I try to brush the trailers once a year tho.I make my own acids,HF & PH b/c I too cann't find one on the market that will clean like mine does. This may be the reason some think it doesn't clean better then prespraying/brush,I wash mosty grain haulers, they have more alumu and chrome then I want to brush.

Besides I'm better than you b/c 'all' my accounts tells me I'm the best 'anywhere' around..................lol.

The grain trailers goes down dirty roads and out into the fields to pick up grain. They aways have mud or mud stains on the tires, after washing the tires are clean and black.Do the trucks you wash have something other then mud stain as to the reason for tire spray or degreaser? I do spray the tires on most all farm eqt tho with the soap I use.

Your right about the tires looking good,a dirty tire will make your whole wash job look dirty.

Bigboy you been washin long enuff.
Get with a mfg. and make what others wont sell.
Buy this bbs and sell some chems.
Be the first guy on your block to have a computer on his 14 ft alum star-craft.
You can still fish with a head-set on.
Customer calls you,you call the mfg.,the mfg ships, you collect the $$$$$$$$$.
I deal with 2 diffrent chem sellers that do this.
One of the chems that i buy has no dist. for NJ.
tHEY SELL DRUM KIT'S AND WHOLE DRUMS if you need them.
There are dist. that sell acid in drum kits.
How wicked would 5 gal of concentrate have to be to make 55 gal of acid that needs to be cut 4 to 1 then downstreamed.
Instead of babying those newbies in your area make some money at it.
I was allways a little suprised that dan f never got into selling stuff on his own site.
I wish there was a "consumers reports" for the stuff we use everyday. I orig started looking at the bbs for that reason.
I did'nt want a garage full of useless crap.
Everyone is being so cryptic about stuff now.

Yes I know what you mean and understand where you are coming from.

I have learned how to wash the polished trucks the 2-step way and do not brush them,I too at one time ran from them. They started being more and more of them so I decided to make them my special trucks to wash.I wash alot of polished trucks but still do not like washing them but the out come is more rewarding as being the only one in my area that can make it shine without brushing,my prices are the same on polished or nonpolished.

Ron,I could have gotten into making and selling chemicals long ago but I need both hands to control dat boat and fishing pole. When making chemicals you never know when your time is up BLOOM,the raw chemicals I mess with aren't to be played with.I added another raw chemical to my formulars to both acids I make and when doing so I didn't know if it would BLOOM are not, lucky huh.Your luck will not always be with you when messing with stuff like that.

How wicked would 5 gal of concentrate:for 55 gal.

It would be to wicked for me,not enough water in the 5 gal to add the raw too,BLOOM,you would have to cut everything down to mix the raw in 5 gals,it can be done tho but not make 55 concentrate,it would be to weak.
