CODY ............a comment that you made in your post was -
A nice little note here, why have the prices come down so much on this
equipment? It's because more pressure cleaning supply companies have popped up and created more competition
within the industry thus lowering prices as a whole!!!! NOW, Competition is a good thing right?????
Ummmmmmmmmmm I don't think so!!
BUT ... You want to join a group to get LOWER PRICES?
hmmmm! .... okay!!???
what am I missing? Explain it.
You can't join on BOTH sides of this issue!
No I really do not want to, but... if it was there I'm sure I would join. Not to join, would be foolish, If my competitors are saving $$$ I have to also. Common business practice Man, If its' there I'm using it, it's outta my hands so to speak! You have to hear what I'm saying here Aran, I look for the BEST prices that I can find but,,, I wish prices were HIGHER across the board. Think about that for a few
I understand that! That makes sense!
ANOTHER THING ............ You said -
The whole goal of
being in business for yourself is to make money. Since I have the time I can look for good buys. So I do. However, I
DO NOT want to make even lower prices available to my competitors.
This last sentence confuses me - How can you legally keep them out?
IF there is a way to - What if they join before you and don't want you in there?
Can't burn the barn down cuz of the flea's!
PART ONE OF THIS POST SEGMENT:
You have the time? In other words you are not working much, huh?
So, tell me how much time you have to offer this program?yeah I have lots of time, Not for that though, And busy is all a matter of perspective. PERSPECTIVE? Either you are or you are not! When people get busy - WHO RUNS THE SHOW? I plan on getting back into full swing however currently I work a little but make alot on what i have
PART TWO OF THIS POST SEGMENT:
You say DO NOT want to make even lower prices available to my competitors.
Who else is going to be buying this stuff CHEAPER?
The guy in your town that is LOWBALLING YOUR PRICES?
I'm not real sure what you're geting at here Aran? You want the upper edge on the competitors, right? That is the point!
But it does concern me that my competitors may get involved upon hearing of a club like this and get an bit more of a stronghold in the business, if that's what you're asking.YUP! That's it!
As for me - I do not care about those LOWBALL Clowns. My prices are a little higher than MOST companies!Well I charge a bit higher also. I too am not terribly bothered by lowballers, I am bothered by the guys like me, their the ones that will establish a good business whom of which I'll have to compete with the most. Lowballers come and go but the folks that know what their doin are the ones to worry about. You get too many of ya then the lowballers take effect by causing the good guys to have to chase their prices when the market becomes saturated.
That is where being very creative in marketing comes to play!
NEXT PART CODY - You hit it on the nose!
You said .....
Do you guys have any idea how much $$$ it would take to support #3,5,6,7,&8. OMG Tons of cash!
Thank you!
My Point Exactly!
One thing I have got to say -
These are the kind of topics I LOVE!!!!!!!!!
Something a guy can really bite into!
Hey Ms. Shirley! You're next!
You said -
Well, you just missed out on 2 of the most profitable companies in America today. What about Microsoft and Fed ex.
MY COMMENT: No comparison!
What is being suggested here is to do what Wal-Mart is doing to small Mom & Pop business (killing their business by LOWBALLING PRICES {the double standard) & to the big guys like Kmart.
yeah I thought that at first too, but I'm not sure that was what they were talking about, I think it was just a metaphor to reference that a little brainstorming can actually lead somewhere. Maybe / Maybe Not. normally maybe 80% of the time - people have to relate to something similar to be able to explain it better. I just looked at the relationship of the 2 situations - and that says OUCH!

GEEEEEEZZ! I love this!
NEXT !!!!!??
