I think that you may be waisting your money.
My small unit is a 13hp honda 3500 psi with a 4gpm flowrate it is a cold water unit it works great most of the time very seldom do I use the other 20hp hot water unit.

I think that a 4gpm should be the min.
Remember to multiply the gpm x the pressure for the total cleaning units.
Just my 2 cents worth. Tim

I subscribe to Tim's theory.......3000psi@4GPM as a minimum. That is what I started out with, and currently I am using 3000psi@5.5GPM. I could never go back to the 4gpm's. The 4 would be ideal for you to start though. Anything less could prove frustrating to you.

Like Tim said, figure the cleaning units

2300psi@2.5GPM = 5750 Cleaning Units
3000psi@4GPM = 12000 Cleaning Units
3000psi@5.5GPM = 16500 Cleaning Units

As you can see, the machine you are talking about has less then half of the capacity. Not that it would not be able to do the work you are describing, it would just take you twice as long. You dont have time for that, especially if you are just part time.

Best of luck in your hunt for the ideal equipment.

I have a 11hp/4gm machine. I am a week-end warrior. I had a smaller unit, one like you mentioned, but like has already been said, takes way too much time. As far as attachments, I use 0,15,25,40 degree nozzles, with soap nozzle (all these came with my machine) 4,6,8 foot aluminum lances (these are a must to have) 8-24 foot telescopic wand, (for which i feel is a waste of money, it's too difficult for me to use), turbo nozzle for concrete (a must) and an 8 ft step ladder. I also have about 300 feet of hose(wand), and 200 foot of water hose. I keep my washer and all the attachments on the trailer, that way I just pull and go. (I've got to get a hose-reel, I think that would be very handy to have.) Good luck in the biz

Larry buy the hose reels!!!
It will be money well spent.
You will save money just in setup and tear down time alone to buy a new reel in a very short time..... Tim
