New to power washing

Hi,
My names Rodney Batchelor. I recently had a really good opportunity come up with power washing. I have the chance to power wash and maintain a fast food chain of about 50 stores. They are roughly the size of a taco bell. Unfortunately I have not used anything as far as a power washer goes outside of a residential setup, as well as for residential purposes. I am curious as to what type of setup I would probably need, as well as if I would need to use any chemicals for cleaning. I did not know if just a hot water setup would suffice for cleaning. Also, a big concern of mine was if I needed a way to dispose of all of the water/chemicals sprayed; or if I used Eco-friendly chemicals, I could just wash it down the drainage. Any type of guidance would be much appreciated! Oh and just as reference I am in Texas, and I have not finalized my Company name or anything as of yet.

Best,
Rodney Batchelor

Hey Rodney the first thing I would do here is use the search Button and look for your answers. There's so much to say about what your asking. You will most definitely need a hot water PW. Mark here from Easy Clean can help you out on what type of Powerwasher you should look for. 8gpm@ 3500 PSI hot water would be a great Powerwasher for this type of service. I wouldn't go any lower then 5.5 GPM @3000psi hot water because the higher GPM the faster you will clean.
You will need a good degreaser which once again Mark sells as does any vacuum set-up that you may need. I would not let any soapy water go down any drains. Check the search button on that as well.
Good luck and ask more questions if you need to.

Hey Rodney, what are part of Texas are you in. Local enforcement will vary from area to area and what can go down a drain will be determined by the enforcement and what you are cleaning. Are you cleaning just sidewalks or is a drive thru, dumpster area, parking lot all part of the scope of work...

I am here in Houston, feel free to give me a call and I'll be happy to guide you through the process.

Welcome to the PWN, glad to have you.
