Self-made House Powerwash Tip?

Entering my second season. A friend mentioned to me that there is a self -made house powerwashing tip that eliminates the need for a ladder and/or wand for house washes - any idea on this one? By tip, Idont mean hint or shortcut, but an actual rig using the color tips. Said it makes it a breeze and you can find out how to build it by searching for it on Yahoo. I didnt see it, but thought this site may help. Thanks.

It may be a reference to a #30 or 35, 0 deg tip ('round here it's called a shooter tip). I use it with a 3700 psi 4 gpm machine and really dumps the water up to about 2 1/2 stories (if it's not too windy). I've heard of people just srewing a 1/4" brass hose barb into a QD which accomplishes the same thing but my PW supply house sells them with a proper fitting for about $12. The great thing about this tip is it will still draw your downstream injector and blasts it up to the 3rd story dormers. If you want I could e-mail the name of the business that sell them here in Richmond.

Some people use an "X-jet'. It is a shooting tip and a chemical injector and the M-5 model has a fan feature for lessening the spray impact. It injects at around 1:1 and shoots 25 or so feet accurately. Mark, the sponsor sells them, just click on the banner at the top fo the page.
