How many coats do you apply ?
Aplus New Member Jun 10, 2004 #3 Depends on the product. If it is a pure penetrating stain like Ready Seal, then multiple coats are appropriate. If it is a film forming stain like TWP, or Olympic, or many others, then only one coat is appropriate.
