stone building

I was asked to bid on an old stone building that has been around for many years. I don't have any problem with that but the water would run down hill for about 2 blocks. It is on top of a very steep hill with asphalt parking lots all the way down the hill. Does one need to recover this water or let it evaporate? It's in a prime location for people to see me, my rig, and the work that I do in a new city. Plus this building is a real estate agents new location. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
Not sure I can answer your question but will give you my thoughts.
I would think that it would depend on what chems you are going to use and what is on the rocks. If it is simple dirt and mildew etc....and you plan on hitting it with some hot water and maybe some bleach I don't feel like you would be required to catch the water. If you are using some harsh chems like acids you might have to catch it before it hits the asphalt.
You could always call around but if you do you may find you get all kinds of answers and end up spending more money when it is not really necessary.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Thanks Dennis,
I went and checked it out today. There is only dirt on the stone with dirt and very little mildew on the facia board. Would you bid something like this just like a sided house.

Jim,
I would bid it out just like a house. It will take you as long if not longer to clean the rock.
Good Luck!
