I use to hate the thing. But I figured out how to use it. I really don't care for the owner of it though.

Anyway you really have to get rid of the filters or what ever you call them. 2 gallons of regular bleach to 3 gallons of water with a good squirt of soap. Will make a house look new again.

The 5 gallons go fast but your talking no more than 25 gallons of mix for the average 2 story. I rinse with a zero tip I drilled out.

This is just for a dirty house with mildew. Black streaks on the gutters and siding are a different thing all together.

That's done by dipping a brush in a secret chemical that cost only 3 to 4 bucks a gallon. Unlike mister xjet sells for 20. One or two swipes, depending on temp. And the gutters look like new.

Hope this helps. Also the guide your building, I dis agree with. What else can a person want for free. God forbid they have to search a little. This site hands just about anyone a career on a silver plater that they don't even have to earn.

The simplest stuff like velcro on the handle of a gun may have took the new guy 10 year to figure out. SO the free rewards are big time to anyone that comes here. I just don't see why someone should organize it for them too.

I don't care if you do it, but it just seems to be getting to easy that's all.

Have a great day everyone.

It gets shot seperate then right, almost like a car wash does? shoot it hot and probably rinse cold? I have used zep products before and they seem to have good stuff.

Must not take much or be cheap to huh, would there be a reason not to wax, I would think it would make everything look a little brighter too.

I have'nt seen any wax that works...personally I think it's a waste of money! It may bead up the h20 for a couple hours but I cant see where it any longevity <need a webster fer dat one>.

I have never noticed longevity with wax either, but for the look of shinyness when you first complete thes job, it does look good to the homeowner.

I meter mine in the rinse water, yes you can apply hot or cold. All chemicals have reasons for appling, wax
highlights the job and nothing last forever. It also helps to protect the surface whether it be a day or a few weeks,I like the sheating waxes instead of the beading waxes. It also helps to protect the oil in the paint as to not look dull when dry.

Gwas soft water isn't the answer for everything, try something new at times!!!!

The one I use now with "soft water" has a cherry flavor, used one once that had a lemon flavor. The customer will notice the shine and the refreshing smell of the flavored waxes!!!!The truckers loves the extra shine even tho it doesn't last forever!!!!!Applied after each wash job the paint will be a little easier cleaned the next time plus it helps to protect the paint finish, the oils in the paint want dry out as fast!!!!!

Would you mind sharing what you use? it's ok if you don't want to, another question I have is those who use soft wate, do you have to haul your own water then?

Right now I'm useing a wax from K O company,I've used delco's,Zep,Allotect and a few more. Some have a little cleaning power buidit into them which does a great job in removing bug prints off chrome. Some will gum up behind the wiper blades if mixed to strong some want.It doesn't take alot of wax, some mix 2,3 or 4 oz to five gallon.Which is upstreamed, depends on your gpm as to your mix rate.I use 4 oz to five gallon upstream though a 6 gpm pump,it only cost pennys unless you apply it hot.If applied hot a cold water rinse will make it shine more,99% of the time I apply it cold.

I just went out and checked to see what brand my wax is, and the pail was re-badged by my local distributor. He carries KO brand soaps, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is.

It is a car wash wax, cherry scented, and is also advertised as a detergent-wax. I don't know about that, but I mix about 4 oz to a 5 gallon pail, with my house wash mix, and xjet on the buildings that I wash.

It is a sheeting type wax, and makes the water just sheet right off everything. I don't think it lasts long, but the customer likes how it looks, and besides, the cherry smell helps cover up the chlorine smell. At about $45 per 5 gallon pail, I don't consider it a big expense.

Regarding soft water........if you have really hard water, or maybe well water, then a softener probably is a good thing. But if your local water is of reasonable hardness, I don't think it's necessary, unless you're looking for a spot-free rinse, like doing cars in a dealership.

I know I am a pro soft water guy but reasonably good water is not the problem. Softening the water helps in a couple of ways. Not only does it make rinsing easier it makes your chems work better!!!! That is the biggest difference for me. Not to mention how much better it is on your equipment....

Tony,
You would benefit greatly from soft H2O..... Do you buy your chems from MOE !!!!
