    The vanguard engine on our hydro-tek unit has a pull start cord, so even if it dose kill the battery all we have to do is just yank the cord and away we go. ------------------

    Need help from the pro's

    Go for the 3000@5g.p.m. hot unit you will need it for flat work and some exhaust hoods. You could use a smaller unit, but you will spend more time cleaning. 5g.p.m. will give you good flow for effective cleaning and it generaly won't out run your supply water. ------------------

    tom, we use a sure-flow 12v. pump run off of our washer battery, we have a 110v. burner and we had to use a full size car battery to keep the pump from killing the battery. I've put down 10 gal. of chem. with washer off and it start's fine after that. we also run caustics and acids through it...
