Until we wash them off. :D There is a delicate balance between application and wash that has to fit in a very tight window of time for some cleanings. Most jobs allow for a 20-30 minute window at most for dwell time.

That's a pretty hot mix, 10 cups of caustic to 5 gallons of water will do some damage. My standard mix is half of that, but juicing up for asian or neglected systems works well. Not sure what amonyx is, but industrial dawn works pretty good if the mix isn't too hot.

We do it all....not on every job, but equipment cleaning and various degreaseing tasks are good add ons.
