Hi all,
Started using a new house wash last week. The company I bought it from recommended that it be applied after a neutralizer (acid). I applied both chems on 1/2 of the house, and just the detergent on the last 1/2 (mainly because there were no plants around the last 1/2). I didn't really notice a difference in the effectiveness without the neutralizer. Is it a waste of time and money? Just wondering if any of you guys 2 step your houses.

Hey Glenn,
We have not tried the two step process. We just use our house wash receipe of bleach and soap and has really worked well for us. No plants killed and everything comes off the house just fine. We always rinse off with plenty of water and really hit all the plants. What are you trying to get off the houses? The purpose is to bring everything back to a normal PH? With plenty of rinsing we have found that the dilution is sufficient. The house gets clean, we save time, no plants killed, our cost is kept low and the customer is happy.

My 2 cents..... Two step = time = MONEY!

Many people, including myself have gotten along fine without a two step process....if you are not getting better results from it, I'd say go back to whatever you were doing before. I'd try it one or two more times though to make sure you give it an honest try.
