If you can expand the tunnel-vision, I think you may understand how the original post can seem insensitive to some folks.
You may have had the right motivation, however that did not come accross in your post. Re-read your post and try to look at it from another viewers perspective (male, female or child). Try viewing it from the perspective of a potential or existing customer.
Taking photos prior to ending the animals misery can seem antagonistic or insensitive, especially as presented (intentional or not). Some may even percieve it as bragging. You would have scored more points dealing with the injured first then taking photos. (I hope if I ever need first aid people don't take pictures before they help.)
I have to agree that the detailed discription and posting 3 photos of a suffering animal are not very appropriate for this site.
This is not a private conversation but a community forum where I hope the moderator may use some discretion in the future to help guide things into their proper perspective.
