Generator went on p/wer .... Unless there is a cheaper one out there it is expensive to replace................ my question ....... what is envolved in converting it over to 12V .... I know One thing and that is the transformer on the burner .... What else is needed? would it be cheaper to just convert? If it is just the transformer it would be.

Mark I went to your site and clicked on generators and got nothing but p/wer's....... DO you or can you get a generator? and what is the range of price? and back to the top Question on converting ...... How much for a 12V transformer? My machine has the remote control on it ... If that helps 'Ya .... it is 12 V. So I do have a relay .

The 12 volt burner housing are different than the 115 volt units.
Parts are not interchangeable.

You can run a 115 volt power cord to another power source until you get the generator repaired or replaced.

I can look up the price of a new generator when I get to the office.

Give me a call. :) after 8:00 AM PDT.

How about one of those power converters Mark>?

I was looking at the sportmans guide and they sell a couple different ones

one is xpower600 power station 115 or 12v DC ......... 600 watt AC output or 1200W max surge

what will it take to run the burner ?

It's too late to call 'ya now and I will be in Shippensburg tomorrow

WILL ONE OF THOSE POWER GIZMO'S WORK . And if they will do you have 'em ?

I have 2 big generators but I would hate to lug one of them in the van . and run that engine as well as the p/wer

Stay with the 110v you have less burner problems, atleast thats what I have ran across.Ran 12v's for years, the last one I bought was 110v.The 12v's your always having to ajust or replace, thumbs up for the 110v

My 20 plus years in this industry leads me to believe that despite the improvements made in 12 volt burners the 115 volt burner with a generator is more reliable.

Repair or replace your generator and get back to business is my advice.
