One way to go about it would be to use brushes on extention poles and brush them off before you wash the house. The downside of that is, most of us don't have brushes on 18ft long poles.....

What's the highest point you need to reach webs??

I have extention poles with brushs that will reach 24 ft. 1st thing that I bought after my 1st job. 2nd thing I bought was a 24 extention wand. Best tools on the truck. But hang on to that baby when you get that high.Because it will give you a ride. We bought our poles for brushs at Home depot. 24ft is about $40 and 16ft for about $30 never ever regreted it. Hope this helps. Tim

Thanks for the suggestions, would you charge extra for the extensive web cover on the house? Not sure which way to go.

A very soapy solution is very helpful. Bleach is not necessary but if you can soak the spider webs really well with soap (any kind - laundry detergent, etc.) it will make the spider webs slippery instead of adhesive and make them heavier at the same time, making them easier to rinse off.

I would say that you should charge more for the job.......how much more depends on you. How bad do you need the work? Are the webs all over the house, or just in one or two spots? All things to consider.

I always get spider webs around my place so every now and then I have to take a broom and get the little web friends down. But I live in a double wide so I dont have to worry about the two story problem your having. I still belive I would try to brush them down before I got the house wet.Hope this helps. catch ya later.

I thought I remembered something about a spider web post.
Question,
Removing the webs will not remove the spiders, they will just come back out after we leave and rebuild. I could spray an insecticide through my flow jet sprayer for an additional charge but, would I have to be licensed? I think so. Anybody have any thoughts on this add on service? How bout you Wildman, countryboync, what do you think???

haven't we seen enough of it?

Rick,
Homeowner called an exterminator while I was there. He told him he could spray but it would only last 6 weeks at the most, so he decided not to spray. I guess you just have to clean them off every few years, sounds good to me.
