Hey all...first I would like to thank those that have recently joined here at PWN and we certainly appreciate the participation on the threads and forums. Most of you have been pretty consistent in responding and answering questions on the different threads.

For some of you that were not aware of PWN at all, this bbs has been around for a very long time. Over the last couple of years traffic here was not as plentiful as it had in years past. The folks behind PWN have made a renewed commitment to bring some life back into this BBS in 2011.

Some exciting ideas are being considered for 2011 relating to this BBS. Ideas that have NEVER been implemented before and from what I understand....it certainly would be a home run if it is pulled off. More details of this will be posted during the "holiday season" for discussion and feedback from you.

Many have contacted me and asked if I own this BBS. The answer is NO. There are many minds behind PWN and there is a keen sense that PWN is positioned very well to once again be a place where contractors can share and dialogue amongst themselves without the under current of the industry politics.

Over the next few weeks we will be looking at the different forum titles and evaluating whether or not they need to be renamed or if any NEW FORUMS need to be added. If you have any suggestions on new forum titles or topics, please let us know.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you that have come over here as a favor for me. I appreciate it.

If you have a thought or a question on anything, start a thread. If you have a colleague that you think could benefit from the dialogue here....invite them over here. Right now we have about 5 individuals that post here regularly...that is a start and lets keep it coming.

Thanks Carlos and all that are involved. Been a refreshing and respectable change from the "norm".

I look forward to the upcoming changes, and will continue to post and check in as time permits.

Thank you Jim for promoting PWN over on FB. I also appreciate our talks over the last couple of months. Your the real deal and certainly an asset here on PWN.

Lets just build PWN slow and steady. I think I can speak for everyone involved, we would much rather have 10 contractors dialoging here about pertinent matters that ultimately improves our business verses 100 contractors bickering about frivolous things that just aren't as important!!

Agreed. Quality in membership should always be the priority.
