Hi guys,

I'm starting in the deck restoration sealing / staining maintenance business, and need to purchase a power washer that has enough psi (2200-3000) and a good rate of gpm's(is 2.5-3.0 ok?) with a good pump to clean decks. I know honda is a good brand, but what's the best pw can I get for $400-700, and is durable and powerful.

Any comments are greatly appreciated

$400-$700, your not gonna find much. Durable at that price might be hard to find. You might be able to pick one up used. But check with Mark at www.pressurewasherzone.com he might have somethin for ya. Besides if ya just doin decks, you dont need but up too 1200psi anyway. Do some research on chems and let them do the work. Anything above 1200psi, your tearin up the deck anyway.

Hope this helps....

Get one with at least 4 gpm most are going to be in the 3000psi range for this. You will only be using 900 psi at most for wood work. It's the GPM that count not the pressure. I use a Landa Direct Drive have had it for 15 years and only rebuilt the pump once. Remember your going to have to drag the sucker around some weird slopes and landscaping sometimes, the smaller the unit the easyer to pull and move.
