advice on equipment

Being that my budget is only allowing for about $1400 to get my first system, I thought this one was a pretty good buy. Can anyone elaborate on it for me?

100ft. of hose with its own reel comes with it too... its not a hot unit, but I can't afford one until I get some jobs under my belt....

thanks!

Nope, I don't think it is a good deal. You can get essentially the same thing at Home Depot for $1000.00, though if I'm not mistaken, the HD machine has a 13 horse engine and is 3600 psi (though who cares about that). It is also 4 gpm. The only thing it doesn't have is a hose reel attached, but you can get that pretty cheap. Also, the HD machine is easier to maneuver, and isn't so heavy you can't lift it into the back of your truck. I don't like the four-wheeler setup, they don't turn very easy. Last, you don't have to pay shipping at Home Depot, and you don't have to pay $30.00 extra to have it come assembled.

Personally, I'm not a proponent of Home Depot machines, just pointing out that you can do better than this deal. For a few bucks more, Mark can get you a nice belt drive machine with quality parts, and then you've got the benefit of support after the sale if you have any problems. Mark's a great guy, and will be there when you need help, as he has been for me and for many many others.

I agree with Mike.

Check with Mark, I've seen some of his prices and machines and they are better then what you posted...

Mark of EasyClean. His number is 800-292-3279. He's on the west coast, so you'll have to call a little later in the morning, not sure if he's there before 8 PST. That's where I'd go if I needed a new machine.
