My neighbor just stopped me to say that an associate of his is in the power washing business and has told him that there is a huge need for mobile power wasgers in the area hit by Katrina. What have you heard?

My source indicates that power washers are earning $2000 a week - not gouging and not charity. It makes sense that quite a mess would be left behind by 2 hurricanes. I'm just fishing to see if any of our cohorts can verify the information that I'm hearing.

My source indicates that $2000.00/week can easily be made at home without driving into a disaster zone..... If you're that motivated, making that kind of money where you live shouldn't be a problem at all!

I can make twice that on some weeks right where I'm at. Now ten thousand a week and I'll pack up and head south.

For one, I am blessed with a good market. Higher income customers and not an abundance of competition. The formula for success and good profit margin:

• Targeted and refined marketing
• The right equipment and setup for the job
• Experience and know-how
• Ability to sell on quality, no price
• Professionalism with customer (neat appearance, show up on time, stay in communication)
• Picture portfolio that shows customers why they pay more for premium service

You sound like my kind of power washer. Tell me more about the marketing. I think I can cover the rest once I stir up enough business. What kind of marketing budget do you allow. I get the gist of the quality sells part but how did you get it rolling initially? :)
