hey mark,
don't get upset i'm not trying to take business away from you. you are in cali and suds is in conn. dosn't make sense to buy from u. also these units i'm displaying will run circles around anything on the market as far as quality goes.this guy has never advertised and get calls from all over the country. now thats quality.not to say your units aren't its just mass production leaves alot to be desired. that unit your showing aint to bad looking. just needs a bigger fuel tank and a different burner.

Chuck,
Thats great that you have a Pal that can and does build Powerwashers and other things that you may need such as the bed of your cool looking setup.

What kind of warrenty would your friend put on a powerwasher that he builds for someone? Would he build a powerwasher with any specs (within reason of course) and engines/pumps that one would want??

I'm not looking to purchase at this time but if the answer to the above is yes then I'll keep that in mind if I ever decide to go with a custom made machine

he is a distributor so his warrinties are the same as anyone elses. he will put any pump, engine, generator, fuel tank, burner, coil, etc that u want. he dosn't discriminate.he dosnt just do this in his spare time. he has been a dist. for a long time of newagain, prosoco, kohler, honda, general, cat,ar,mosmatic, steel eagle, hanney reels, wolmans, and anything else you can imagine.

Hi Doug....the Iron Horse is manufactured by xxxxxxxxxx out of Georga. I called the company recently inquiring about their claim to fame Iron Horse. I was interested in purchasing a 4,000 psi @ 5 gpm machine which was costing 5900.00 at the time. The machine has a built in self diagnostic system to quickly locate problems if the burner does not function properly. It comes with dual battery boxes and supposedly the best components in the industry. The machine weighs 1500 lbs! The new line of Iron Horses are now entirely composed of stainless steel. The same machine I was looking at is now 11,000 dollars. They went from direct drive pump to a pulley pump. In my opinion they are way over priced but I have never seen one in operation. You can go on the xxxxxxxxxx website to view them.
I am taking my friend's advice in NC to rebuild the Tuff machine of mine that died. For about $1500 I will have the machine up and running with my choice of components.

mark ; that's my p/w. dosen't look like they changed a thing since 93. i would like some minor changes (they may have done them). i was in buss. 6yr's when i bought mine. by the grace of GOD i bought in bridgeport conn. the first yr. a LOT of things broke. they were very good at fixing it and kept me going. now I fix it. i tell people i meet selling new again(new p/w guys)buy localy in case you need help.
my p/w is inside a van.the dealer fork lifted it out for repair.i can now do everything in the van.except the coil, which broke the first year too! since 93 over 4000 hr. 3 generators,3 general pumps,1 coil, 1,18 hp koler eng. plus the normal things. suds mckenzie

chuck nice rig .looks like p/w, and seperate burner's? what pressure and flow. what do you wash?how many washers are on there looks like two burners? as for me i have a 1ton van with everything inside works fine . we wash, houses, decks, roofs.too big of a rig is no good around here. but i would like to kick the p/w up to notches unknown to man , just because.

i have 2 25hp kohler,2 general ts2021, 2 winco gen., 2 kerosine burners ,2 electric hanney reels(300feet of line on each),1 manual reel with 200 feet of craftsman water hose and a deionizing system that water can be run through or i can bypass it with the turn of a handle. I run 5.6gpm at 3200psi. I do decks, houses, roofs, concrete, gutters, bricks, apartments, and commercial contracts of 1 year or more.

Don't let my rig fool you. If you have ever driven one of these cabovers you know what i mean. They are more manuverable than a yugo. Since i built my unit several guys around here have ditched their trailers and vans to build one like mine. I did alot of research before i built my unit and this gave the best overall performance. The only thing i would do different is leave the box on it and put the units in there.

I don't use x-jet i use downstreamer installed just before hose from coil enters reel. The reason i do this is i can still apply chems up to 30' plus little or no overspray unless its windy. I use a 0040 tip to apply and rinse. Saves alot of time since theres no bucket or exrta line to tote around. I only use x-jet for acid to keep it out of my hoses.
