Another downstreamer question

Has anybody tried XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX's Double Gulp Injectors, which allows two draw tubes to be run off of the injector (It has two barbs) and put into one solution and supposedly draw more chemical? Like many others I'm trying to find a solution to the low draw rate of downstreamers. Thanks. Dan Stapes

they do work but, there is really no need to spend 70-80 $$ on it when a simple 10 dollar one (single) works just as good.

I buy the cheap ones and when it goes I toss it into the trash.

Has anyone tried putting two downstreamers in line together and dropped both hoses in the same chemical? I have been meaning to try this for a while to see if two would draw more than one.

Daniel, I don't know whether they work or not but I do have to disagree with Dan. I downstream most of my housewashes and there are differing draw rates on better quality units.

Thanks for the reply Ken, What I meant was according to Dan S. they don't work any better than single barbs. I've been doing some testing and with my 4gpm machine the best I have gotten is 8:1, It works for me on most housewashes, using a good mix , of course but on the real jobs or stucco, texture coatings etc. I was hoping to find one that was closer to 5:1 where I would'nt have to break out the x-jet, shurflo or pump up. Ken, would you mind getting a phone call on specifics? I've been on the search for awhile now. Thanks, Daniel

David, that won't work, only the 2nd injector will draw, if you do a search its been covered with more of an explanation, In my last post it was supposed to read real jobs or to be more literate "heavily mildewed.

Your right there are different draw rates and different openings...

However the cheap ones work just as good as the most expensive ones........and last just as long.......But hey everybody has their own thing.

2 injectors will not work plumbed together Just like Daniel Stapes had said.

the 2barb injectors work and they work good BUT................. cheaper works just as good

I do gotta say though that with the double I had one barb in acid the other in soap and did my 2-step like that....Had fair results.

The simplest way to increase the strength of your downstreamed solution is to increase the strength of the solution itself.
