Another quick problem

I had to change my muffler on my Honda 13 hp motor (GX 390), but not before the vibration ruined some threads in the engine block (ie. head). I tried putting in a new bolt and it held ok, so I changed my gasket and bolted on the new muffler. However, the muffler just won't stay on, either the bolt losens or the nut does. I tried using JB Weld on the bolts and Locktight on the nuts, and this has helped somewhat, but the muffler still gradually loosens off and I have to tighten them every day before I get started.

Any ideas or solutions on how to permanently keep on the new meffler? Thanks in advance.

They make different types of locktight, one is a permanent so make sure its what you want.

Is the stud into the head comming out or the nut loosening??? If it is the stud then replace with a heil coil. If it is the nut then replace with a all metal locking one(not nylon).

Thanks

I really appreciate all the advice. I was having a problem with both the nuts loosening and the bolt coming out, but once I threadlocked the nuts they stayed firm. So the next thing to do is use the helicoil. I was starting to freak... I can't thank you guys enough.
