Anybody ever cleaned synthetic stucco?

Has anybody ever cleaned synthetic stucco? One of the prerequisites is that we cannot use high pressure. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Paul

It depends what's on the surface. But if it's mildew and dirt. You can use a soap and bleach mix with low pressure. Do a search and you will find out how to make a few different mixtures.

Thanks for your suggestion Dan. Unfortuantly it is some staining run-down that looks like it came from from aluminum or another metal (I'll try to post a picture on herer today). Do you reccommend any low pressure pump sprayers or companies that would be able to handle some chemicals very high and low on the pH?

If the staining is rust, you might try some oxalic acid, applied with a typical pump-up sprayer. You have to be careful though, so as not to eat thru the stucco. Low pressure is also a must.

I washed a small strip mall complex a couple years ago that had rust stains on the stucco caused from the metal structure of signs mounted above.

The rust stains would not come out, and I advised the owner it's time to paint....which he did.

Good luck.

Hey Paul, I have good results with commercial bleach from Home Depot I buy the outdoor beach and add a surfactant this will cling to the vertical surface. I would suggest a pump up sprayer or an x -jet (my personal choice) let the chemical dwell and rinse with low pressure This should yield some good results on the stucco and be :) cost effective

Yah its really up in the dar. I did a house out in Ashburn VA that was huge.... of course... it was stucco. Try this... inject a mixture of Outdoor bleach..... and a grea deal of laundry detergent. cut the "chemical" with water... spary it on with a 6 foot wand. ..... let it sit for like 5-10 mins..... if that doesn't work.... paint.... or scrub by hand ;) hahahahah good luck.
