Everyone say "Joe Walters", but I think that's because he is the only one that promotes it. Look in your local Yellow pages for a Business Insurance broker. I pay 1/2 of what J.W. wanted.

I had insurance from Virginia Mutual last year & paid $500 for 1 million with a $1000 deductiable. Found out they didn't cover me for care custody & control. Call Walters insurance & they want almost $1000 with a $500 deductiable but (CCC) is real important!!!

I also called my State Farm agent & they won't insure PWers

I'm thinking of going with Walters if anyone had another company that will cover (CCC) please let me know I have until April 1st to make my decision.

Thanks

It is getting harder to find insurers for the industry. If you can find an agent you can go directly with Liberty Northwest. That is one of the companies walters uses but you can avoid walters fees and bad customer service.

I went with Joe Walters because they seem to work with alot of folks in the power washing industry. My concern was using a company that didn't write many polciies with PW's and not being adequately covered. A little over 900 per year for 1,000,000 GL.

I haven't had a need to call them for anything since I have gotten my policy so I can't speak on their customer service.

I use ohio casualty group. A little more than 500$ a year for 1 million. No claims, so I don't know what there customer service is like. No problems with them though!

Could some of the Maryland area guys shoot me an email with your phone number in it? I'm in the process of looking for insurance also. Or just give me a call if you don't mind... I'd call you all but I don't know your numbers!

go LOCAL

gezzzzzzzzzzzzzz guys

I checked with Walters about 6years ago.....what a joke!
rates were high
took 3 weeks to talk 2 anybody
and they were a bit rude.

If you stay local and stay with the same ins. co. for a long time you get a better rate......... I have.

I think going outa state to get ins. is like going outa state to take a poop.

Yeah I know the local Ins. gets it outa state........however you deal with a local agent ......... and if you have any questions you can go to their place and talk face to face.

Joe Walters has been good to me. It is $1500.00 for the year for 1 Mil compared to all the locals who want $2500.00 and up, if they will even cover pressure washing.
They have always been nice on the phone, easy to get ahold of, and send additional insured papers out real fast at no extra charge. The broker fee is only $75.00 for the year, and best of all they know PW well, and do not have to guess.
