<font color=e87400>Picked up this pressure washer for $150 at an auction. Trying to figure out what the pump is, thinking maybe it's a 4/3500 ? Any help would be appreciated. Click on the pics to enlarge them if you need to.

Thanks
Cody

Hard to say exactly. What HP is the engine? It is from the SF series which is the high end cat pump. I have 2 of these both are the 4SFXxxxxx and pump 4.5 gpm at 3000 psi. There are a lot of variations in the models but they retail for around $700- $800+. Not bad for $150 if it all works. Keep in mind that the repack for these pumps is about $200.00

<font color=e87400>The tags on top don't refer any model numbers. The motor is a Honda 13hp. It's got a North Star tag on the gas tank.</font>

North Star sounds like something from Northern Tool. Call them and see if they can shed some info.

Alittle tip for you guys who do not know. But when honda puts a white tank on a engine of anykind it is on the high end. Or commerical grade. Which means the unit was probably costly when new. 150.00 sounds like a good deal to me.

That was useful. Kinda makes it easier to spot quality from a glance. How did you ever learn that little tip? [white]
