Awnings

Got a question???? I was asked to clean some awnings and haven't really mastered this yet. I just used a regular want and a ladder. Is this the normal way or is there something easier?? Would an extension wand be better?? What's the going rate for them also?? These are canvas awnings/? Finally, should I be using any chemicals/? thanks in advance for all your help

I wouldn't use any pressure at all. Use a very mild soap, wash from bottom to top, with a hand brush (soft) or you could use an extension pole. Rinse, thoroughly with water from a garden hose to ensure the soap is out.
If you are doing this in direct sunlight don't let the soap dry. Keep rinsing until you are sure the soap is out.
As for pricing??????????? Either by time or so much per square foot.
