back always hurtin

Hello, every body i like the new board. Dan sure did a good job.
Well i am 24 years old and i have owned my own pressure washing bussiness for almost 3 years now, i have been washing for 5. Well my question is does any of your guys lower back hurt from washing. Mine has been hurtin for almost 6 months now and i think i am too young for this to be happening to me. I am just thinking about the future and i feel when i am like 35 my back is going to be all screwed up from bending over alll the time with that damn wand, do you guys wear back braces or what.

Proper posture is the key. I am 40 and do not have back problems, and I have been doing this for 12 years. Buy the equipment that will make yourlife easier, a surface cleaner, a longer wand, lighter hoses, and hose reels at a level where you do not have to bend over to wind them. Another thing is that when you lift, always keep your eyes forward as you are lifting. If you lift this way it is nearly impossible to lift incorrectly.
