hey guys i made my first rookie mistake today i have not use my pressure washer in a week ,i've been on vacation and decided to go out and test my pressure washer, i put on a 0 degree nozzle and fired it up pointed it at my utility shed and squeezed the trigger the nozzle was not completely seated in the quick connect,it shot off putting a hole completely through the tin siding of the shed luckly i damaged my own property it could have been a customer window,or siding are worse of all another human being.i am posting this so someone else can learn from my mistake i dont know if this has ever happened to any of you if not think about this and check and make sure your nozzle is properly seated in the quick connect(check all connections).

There have been many, many times when you could catch me searching through the grass for a launched nozzle.Always point your gun away from anything or anyone when first pulling the trigger especially after changing nozzles!I have been lucky...so far in the last 5 years I haven't utilized my insurance one time...But I have lost plenty of nozzles on customers lawns!

.It sounds as tho your useing 1/4 Q.C.,the 3/8's are not as bad.I haven't losed a nozzle in years.I was washing some grain bins and shoot the tip off my x-jet,went back 3 different days looking for that sucker and never did find it.From then on I always made sure my plug was pluged, heck that tip is almost as high as the whole thing.I went to 3/8s stainless steel Q.C. at the working end of the hose and all stanless steel plugs, haven't lost one yet.

What kind of test where you going to do with a o tip on that there shed
