Bird Droppings on Awnings !!!

Need help? Does anyone have experience at removing bird droppings fron Sunbrella Awnings? I know that Sunbrella fabric is made of solution dyed acrylic fiber and is not affected by bleach, but I tried bleach (1.5%) and did not get much improvement. The awning is green and white stripes and the droppings have stained the white stripes pretty bad. Have several large awnings to do if I can find a chemical to loosen the bird dropping stains.

There is a company in Florida called Awning Rejuvanation Systems e-mail is arsi@sprynet.com,They sell all kinds of cleaners.One in paticular may help you it is called Universal viny cleaner or Maintenance cleaner it is suppose to remove all or most of the staining.You can also lighten any troublesome stains with a good scrubbing using Streak Majic or with a cleaning solution of Safe Scrub.All this can be puirchased from them.I have the Universal cleaner but our awning cleaning season has not started yet so I have not tried it but itching to do so.Hope this helps,and if you do try it let me know how if works.If you need their address e-mail me.

There is also a company called Winsol that sells an awning cleaning product called Deep-clean that I have had good luck with. I do not know their web site address but I am sure that you could find it using a search engine.
