Blow'em if you got'em?

Hello everybody - how's it going David!

Question - has anybody ever ran into a fan motor blowing after cleaning, without it actually getting wet?

For instance, if the fan blades were sooo dirtied that when turning it wasn't actually pulling any air. Creating very little load on the motor. Then once cleaned of course it starts to actually do it's job, while creating a greater load on an older motor. Unable to handle it?

With one account three out of the last 22 motors have went out. Anywhere from the same day, to a couple days later. We usually run them for about 30 minutes after the cleaning to make sure everything is cool - it always seems fine.

I have asked that the company old onto the latest fatality so we can disect it to find out if it was water or not. We always mask, plastic, or remove depending on setup and the motors are never hit with a direct spray and chemicals.

Has anybody ever ran into this problem?

Thanks guys!
