business in orlando

Don't know for sure, but it's gotta be a good place. Thousands of hotels, restaurants, mobile home parks, residences, plenty of trucking, businesses, Disney, etc., etc. And the work is year round. Some of us North-easterners have been off since Thanksgiving, and are still twiddling our thumbs.(or doing our taxes).

I ask because i live in orlando, and im ready to start my own pw business. Im a Lawn Man and im looking for extra income. Hopefully i can do it fulltime at some point. But anyway travel all around central florida doing my job and see a lot of residential and commercial property in need of cleaning, but i dont see that many pressure washers. There are two pages or so of them in the yellow pages. Another question. Is there a such thing as starting a pw business to late in central florida. I ask because spring time is coming around and this is supposed to be the busy time of the year and i dont have all of my money save up to buy all of the equipment necessary. Please give advice.

Hi there,
I live in Orlando and have been in the business for a little over 5 years now. Feel free to give me a call this week, if you want.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and give Don a call...he knows his stuff, and, as you can see, is even willing to help out someone who may become his competition at some point. I do the same thing...I'd rather my competition know what they're doing, charge fair prices, and not give the industry yet another black eye by doing lousy work at substandard prices. Don's a great guy and always willing to help others.
