Can I peel the paint?

Does anyone have experience with stripping paint that has failed to adhere to the surface in places. I got wind of a company that has 127 mobile generators that have failed paint. They so far plan to sand the units manually. I thought I read somewhere that pw could do it. This surface is heavy gauge sheet metal. I can crank 3000 psi and use a swivel nozzle. Any experience out there? :)

If you coat them with Auto paint remover, you should be ableto do it. The key to this is the demonstration that you can do it. So you will need to explain that you have a few different chemicals to try, and spray them on, let them dwell, and spray away. Depending on the size of gen set, you might be able to spray two, let the second one dwell, and then spray the first one. ALways have one dwelling as you are moving a long. Youwon't wantot do this for the dmeo, though. I alwyas make the demo take as long as reasonable. That way people feel justified in a little higher price.
