Can't Access this Site

I'm having a problem accessing this site on my PC at home. Every time the page starts opening it just freezes and my whole system freezes up as well. Then I have to reboot.

Anyone else having this problem? Maybe I have some programs that are conflicting with this new format????

Please HELP me out of this frustrating dilemma !!!!!!!!!

That's wierd

What type of computer is it?

How old?

what browser & version #?

What type of internet connection?

Your computer at work isn't having a problem?

The stuff on any site will not freeze your computer. If you have a old browser you may not see certain stuff. You might even have a bug.

I am not an expert, so this is just a thought or two.

Hi Dan,

I have a 3 year old Gateway and I'm using AOL 6.0 so everything is pretty much up to date.

Last year I had the same problem when I used to frequent another site and I can't remember how I cleared it up.

Now it only seems to be happening on this site. I know it probably doesn't have anything to do with your site because no one else has mentioned it.

No problems here at my other PC. I guess I'll have to check for a virus at home.

Thanks for your help.

I know most might want to shoot me but get rid of AOL or if you can install MS Internet brower and log in that way.

You should have no problem then.

I am more familiar with the Mac OS (Macintosh operating system) as I have been a Mac user for years. But this is what I would suggest:

Clear your cache and delete cookies.

Usually works on my Mac![2cool]

<b><font color=blue>Also run Disk Defragmenter.

If your thinking of buying another mouse, check out the Microsft Interllipoint Optical 3.2,no more ball to stick or get dirty, its a good mouse plus the pointers that come with it are pretty cool,,,I like the yellow rose on a stem opening and closing. It even has a mouse looking icon with cheese haha. Also it has 4 click buttons and a wheel that you can set to your lik'ing.</b></f>

Also you might try clearing out yout temporary internet files folder, and cleaning out the history. You can bring a PC to its knees if you are online alot if those temp files store up for a while. Depending on the version you are running, you can set your browser to delete files when you reach a certain number of MB, and also purge the history after a certain number of days.

In your browser look under Tools, then Internet Options, and take a look in there. Adjusting them might help. :)
