Carpet Glue

Hey All longtime


I have a Customer with carpet glue on concreate I was wondering the best possible way to get it off without using chems or hot water, and what psi should I use without hurting the concreate. I used 2500 psi on it and it did very little should I go higher or will it chip the concreate.

If you dont want to use hotwater or chems, Wear knee pads because you will be scraping a lot.

It will be another long time no see if he trys without chemicals or hot hot water.

It depends upon the type of glue. I have had success with mineral spirits, WD-40 and Goof Off. It's it's a type of epoxy, you're gonna be scraping.

I would try a buffer with a scarifier attachment.

wet towl and a clothes iron 5 mins it is gone.
