Carrying water...what a great idea!

Hello from Portland, Oregon! It was about 75 here today..

We came up with a great idea for transporting water. We use a 32 gallon dark green colored Rubbermaid garbage can which is plumbed with a garden hose connection at the bottom. This connection feeds our hot water unit. On the can lid, we plumbed it with another garden hose connection for filling it. It works GREAT!
We store the can at the front of our 6' trailer as we are limited on space in the trailer. This gives us time for about 7 minutes of cleaning with is quite sufficient for our type of cleaning we do.

Our total investment in this water carrying solution was under $20.00. It's also a excellent place to store our garden hoses too....

What type of washing are you doing (i.e., what are you doing in 7 minutes)? Just curious.

75? Man, it has been in the middle 90's here! HOT HOT HOT...
We have a 100 gallon tank in our enclosed trailer but when we need to haul more water we load up our 55 gallon barrels in the back of the pick up with an electric pump and just pump in the water to the 100 gallon tank. Works great and the cost was just the pump.
