I'm trying to price out a job on a ceder house, it needs to be power washed then sealed. the Homeowner wants to have CWF applied to the house.
Any thoughts on the best way to applie the CWF and what I should charge.

How about an airless sprayer and use a 24" extension wand with a .411 tip? The setup I use, and like, is a Titan 440 electric airless with 100' of hose, a Graco contractor gun with Graco "Reversa Tip". Local Sherwin Williams store should be able to set you up. They even have payment plans for contractors in the business.

I would talk them into a better product.Usually CWF doesn't even hold up 1 year without discoloring.

I agree about trying a different product. CWF will not hold up as long as a better quality sealer. They will be calling you in a year to let you know you need to come back and fix the problem. And I know you don't want that!
If you don't want to spend the money but have the time you can use a pump up sprayer as long as the sealer is thin enough {like Ready Seal}. It will take you longer but the cost is much much less.
We charge by the sq. ft. usually $1.00 but higher if it is difficult work like heights edges etc. Takes more time and more sealer to apply.
Good Luck

I agree with Preston. Not only does CWF not hold up and discolor, it is difficult to deal with down the road (stripping). This is a big enough problem on a deck, I can't imagine a house.

Thanks to all that responded, your information was very
helpful, I do have an airless sprayer and will be speaking to the homeowner about not using CWF.
