Chemical Dilution Ratio

This may sound like a dumb question, but how do you find out what your dilution rate is on the machine? It's not listed in any of the paperwork that came with it, and I looked online FOREVER and all I find is that most are like 12:1 to 18:1. The one I'm trying to find it on is the Troy-Bilt 3700 PSI 13HP Honda 4 GPM. I know some of you have this machine. Have you found what your ratio is?

How are you applying your chemicals? That is going to determine what your ratio is. If you use an x-jet, I believe with no proportioner, you'd be applying at 1:1.

No, it's the injector that came on the machine. I'm asking if anyone has this same unit that knows what the ratio is. It's not in the factory documentation.

No. The Troy-Bilt unit is equipped with a downstream injector. All I'm asking here is if someone on this board has the same unit and if they do, do they know what ratio the factory-supplied chemical injector runs at.

What is the make/model of the injector?

If you really want to test for yourself, knowing that the machine puts out 4 gpm, open the injector, put the tube in a measured bucket of water. Open the trigger for 60 seconds, and measure the amount of water that the injector took out of the pail. If the injector sucked up 8 oz. of water, and you know that the machine put out 4 gallons, then you used 1/2 gallon of "soap" to 4 gallons of water, so the ratio is 8 parts water to 1 part soap, or 8:1. You can calculate the ratio based on how many ounces of soap you used.
