I have a small residential property that i must PW on Sat and although i would never seal anything with thompsons or behr i was wondering if their is a major difference between behr concrete and degreaser V. Zep's products. Does the "professional" grade on the behr make it better? thanks for any info.

Behr who?

For my money,or purchase price, I am a dedicated Zep user. My opinion (and we all know that line!) is that when I have to tackle grease I prefer the Zep line of products. I have tried Behr(ly) and I must not have read the directions correctly because it didn't do what they said it would so I am sure it must have been my fault because we all know that the guys in Washington demand "truth in advertising".

Thanks Andy, i must have sat at home depot for a good 30 minutes staring at the 2 packages and behr's says "professional grade" which is a dirty little tag line [2cool] . Thanks again for you input it is greatly appreciated.

I was at home depot the other day and also noticed both cleaners. I did buy 1 of each to try them out at my house first. the behrs was onsale and about half the price of the zep cleaners. So why not give it a try. I know they are not as strong or effective as commercial cleaners but i just started in the business and i'm trying to find a place locall to buy some good chems. I'll let you kow how they work though.

Good deal.

Im going to probably buy both myself just to try it. I should probably listen to some of the *cough* older gentlemen but then what fun would that be this early in the game? Good luck and let me know how the chems worked for you.

Hello,
Where are you located? A buddy of mine works in San Antonio and uses some of the Zep Products but the ones he buys are not in Home Depot. The good stuff is at the Zep Dealer. My buddy tried the Zep stuff from Home Depot and it is not the same stuff. He took the stuff back and got his money back. There are Zep Dealers all over you just have to look for them. There are also a lot of other good quality products around just ask for brand names and explain what you are going to be cleaning and everyone will help.

chems

I did try the behrs deck cleaner and it did not work as well as i thought. The deck had a lot of mildew and i would think that a bleach mixture would have worked way better. I recently found a super deck dealer at a local paint store so im going to give them a try.

BEHR/cleaner warning for concrete

I chose not to use behr and went with a citrus Kleen product but a client just showed me a stain on his concrete basketball slab where he had tried to use behr c/degr. on a few spots. Make sure if you do use behr to use it for the whole project not just individual stains so your work remains uniform in color. It seems like common sense but i thought i would throw it out there. Looks to me like someone poured the behrs on spots without any dilution!!
