I am planning to clean a stained deck. The stain is still in good condition but it has some areas where there's algea.
My question is, since the stain and deck in general is still in good condition, can I just use Wolman's Deck and Fence Brightener or other cleaners there that have oxalic acid? After cleaning it, I plan to use clear/transparent protective repelants.
Or do I need to strip of the stain using Wolman's Deckstrip Stain and Finish Remover. In that case, I would have to stain it again. But I prefer not to remove the stain as it is still in good condition.
Any tips for this amateur? Thanks.
