Concrete question gentlemen

I recently booked a job that is primarily concrete and i was just wondering if a higher psi say in the 3600 range would be better at removing stains that have been there for 8+ years. Also i mainly use Zep floor and concrete cleaner and i was wondering if there was readily available product that might have more success on stubborn concrete. Thank you gentlemen for any advice you have.

What caused the stains? Zep is OK, but there are other chems that will do better. 3000 psi is usually sufficient for concrete. Hot water will make a huge difference over cold water as well.

Certain stains will not come off regardless of water pressure, unless you have the right chems.

Since you didn't say what type of stains, I can't telll you what might work for you.

The ZEP you mention is likely a consumer grade general purpose cleaner, and not nearly strong enough to tackle tougher jobs.

Thanks guys

Thank you very much for your input, i will most likely rent a 3000 psi with Hot capability. the stains are mostly from oil deposits from vehicles over the years. Again thanks for the replies gentlemen.
