hey folks
I need some input on what you think a real good product for cleaning oil stains from concrete is, we do nothing but hoods and latley alot of our customers have been asking us if we can do there drive thru's, dumpster pads ect. I've looked into DR80 by Dominion but it seems a bit pricey to me, Ive thouhgt about using out caustics that we use on the hoods? but if yall know of somthing better i'd appreciate the input, yes we have van mounted hot water units and hydro scrubbers.
thanks

Don makes a product called Cardiblast that works great on concrete. Purchased in 55 gallon quantities it's $5.99 a gallon. It may be costly to ship because he only offers it in lioquid form.

Good Luck !

Richard,
I have started to use DR 60 by dominion. I have a couple of jobs lined up with it. It is a little pricey, but the customers like what it does. It can bring the concrete back to like new. It even makes old concrete look new. No, I'm not making any money from do minion, just like what it does.

Lenny,

I have heard pros and cons about the DR60 from Dominion. Is it true you sometimes need to apply 2-3 applications to get results? I was just wandering since the stuff is very costly.

Richard, we also do hoods and concrete, nothing will cut through heavy oil and grease on drive thru's as good as the caustic's you are using on the hoods. DR60 is not worth anything close to what they charge for it. apply caustic to drive-thru let stand 5 to 10 min. brush heavy build-up's and re-apply caustic to those areas only, then use surface cleaner with hot water and detail with wand, this process work's great for us.
