Copper cleaning

I had a few customers ask me if I cleaned copper. Do any of you do this type of work? If so is it hard to do. Is there a coating to put over after cleaning? what do you charge for something like this. I have alot of customers that have copper awnings that are severely tarnished that could use restoring.

We looked into a briefly....it seems more labor intensive than chemically difficult. The big $$ would come with sealing it afterward to keep the copper look. I'll try to find the stuff I compiled when researching and shoot it to you. What's your email address?

Celeste,
I have been in a pressure washing contractor for 15 years and I'm still learning.
I built a new home three years ago and we had our contractor build two large cedar decks and we had him build the railing system with copper tubing. We do want (or my wife wants) the tarnish look that the cooper tube's give in our wooded setting. It looked nice when the copper was first installed but to keep it looking like new will be a ton of work.

So I guess my question is to you, do know of a product that holds that new bright golden look on copper tubes?
Although my wife may not agree, but maybe I could do my front deck to see how long this may last!

Thanks for the advice,
Tony

Let me know what it is so I can try it on my personal deck.

Thanks
