Done several jobs with corn cob blasting. About a dozen over the last two years.
There is a certain call for the service, Its not a cheap set up to just get started. In the Midwest here just the set up cost can be at least $2,500, but we rent all the equipment needed.

Not sure we want to pick-up any more work outside of what we already do.

$2500 not bad,all the kits I have found are around $7500. Tony what company did you find your equipment.

We used local rental place for our equipment. It was a sand blasting set up but we changed a few tips and such and made it a corn cob blaster. Just changing the media and making some adjustments.

When we order the corn cob media it is a order of 2,500lbs minimum.

Thanks Tony , we won't be adding this service at this time. We would love too provide this service for consumers,but our plate is full at this time.

Corn cob blasting is not a easy application or process. There are a lot of things to contend with. The time everything takes we can do 4 to 5 decks and make the same profit % with less headaches than Cob blasting.
