Is the name 'Deck Doctor' a franchise? It seems like every city has one.... just curious, if someone incorporates that name or starts a franchise, does that name have to be relinquished by everyone who currently has that name?

Deck Doctor is in my area two guys used to run it now a husband and wife team runs it. No franchise as I know them both. They did buy the rights to the name and the accounts the fictitious name is all they need.

Then I have House Doctors, Deck Masters, Gray away, Thats about it the rest of us use our real names, Deck refinishing by ----------- One gent is Decks by ------------. Oops forgot one Superior decks.

If you lic your biz with a fictitious biz name your good

I dont know I hope not I have had this name since 1996,It would suck if I had to change it..
