hello again,

I just spent about 2 hours reading the archived posts using the search feature. My quest over the next few days is to establish what I will need for cleaners for my intended purpose. However, many of the posts are older so I am worried to be looking for or buying cleaners that are obsolete or unavailable. I have also realized that name brands can not be displayed here and with reason. I am hoping that some of you could be kind enough to shoot me some emails with some help.

Here is my situation.

5.6 gpm, 3500 psi hot water machine
Intend on cleaning mostly homes of aluminum, vinyl and wood
Intend on cleaing some asphalt driveways can concrete walkways and patios,
Intend on cleaning some roofs, mostly asphalt shingle.
gutters as well.

Here is what I need help with.

1. What chemicals seem to work and are popular and readily available.
2. Most popular appliacation method and ratio for such chemicals.
3. Hot or cold or warm water for vinyl.
4. Basically any other info that a rookie could use.

Any and all help would be greatly appreicated. My email is mas3372@cox.net

Thanks so much in advance

• Your big gun is going to be sodium hypochlorite. Try to find 12.5%. (Pool stores sell it as 'pool shock') I like it cut 1:2 with water for roofs
• For house cleaners I like products with sodium metasilicate (read more about aluminum siding two stepping also) I like using a wax/polymer in my housewash rinse for extra sparkle. Watch certain waxes on north house sides especially if there are a bunch of trees shading the house, mold will build quickly.
• Concrete cleaners, for the money..a combination of sodium hydroxide and butyl. For a true professional job follow with a coating of oxalic acid. More agressive acids would include phosphoric and hydrochloric (muriatic)

Hot water for concrete. Warm water is fine for vinyl but not neccesary with the right soaps.
