If you do, I have started a new forum. Most of the ones that I have found focus on basically one type of fish, one area such as salt water or one specific species of fish. they are all good but this is a hobby of mine so I wanted an all encompassing forum for fishing.

Fresh Water only here. Catfish and Crappie. Saltwater is ok as long as I dont have to clean the boat or equipment when I'm done fishin. Turns a great day of fishing in to a hard day of work pretty quick

 

[New Look]

I have been out on a few charter boats here in S.F. when Salmon fishing was permitted. It has been banned here for abut 2 seasons now. The last time I was out I think there was about 20 of us and only one or two people caught salmon.

I want ...really want to get up in around the Oregon/California area and do some salmon fishing in a river/stream. Go up there for about 2-3 days....either pitch the tent or sleep in a cabin...turn the cellie off....you get the idea.
