I did a similar size drive yesterday, also sidewalks and a small basketball court but all I used was a turbo nozzle without chems. I am wondering if a chemical would have sped things up. I got great results but a little slow for my liking.

A turbo nozzle is not the right tool for cleaning larger concrete areas such as you mention. In a pinch maybe, but the best tool is a surface cleaner, which would be much faster, as you would like, and really, do a better job.

I am not an advocate of turbo nozzles. There is too much risk of unnecessary damage.

I've had a turbo nozzle for years, and find the best place for it is in my toolbox.

Wait I have one also. But I use it for blowing leaves LOL
Take Ton's advice on the turbo nozzle. Also only use the 0 Deg. nozzle for sticking it in the ground for killing rats in the dirt. They hate water LOL
Using proper equipment where required= staying in business and no town hanging of the contractor. :burn: [lm]

I appreciate the advise but I can't afford the surface cleaner right now because I am primarily a window cleaning contractor but also do small power wash jobs. once in a while, a customer really wants something like a driveway done but not often. Usually it's just a walkway or patio. I use the "soft" setting on the turbo and actually I really like it, but that's just me. I am curious though, are you saying that the turbo can damage the concrete or flagstone patio?

Thanks,

Steve

Sonlight,

The Turbo Nozzles are great!
However they can do a lot of damage.

When they were first introduced I would
demonstrate them cutting a 2x4 in half.

Yes they can damage concrete and flagstone.

In the spring I ordered a small surface cleaner from Mark. The price was far lower than I expected for such a fine machine. Very affordable.

Call Mark and ask him about the 16" Steel Eagle. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
