I ordered one at the begining of the season. It's the S---! Overall it's about the same weight, however, the locking mechanisms employed are detent buttons rather than the old screw tightening ones that stay in place, unlock when you need to etc...The only real problem I had was during shipping. It appeared that UPS drop kicked it a few times and the trigger housing broke. I called then and they send a replacement free. I think they mentioned that they had similar complaints and are in the process of getting that fixed (shipping & Packing). For the price it's worth it.

I agree. It rules. I had the same problem with shipping........the trigger mechanism had a crack in it, and it broke during use. The manufacturer corrected the problem immediately........shipped a new part by air, and it was easy to fix.

You will not regret this purchase.

Mike,
I have the exact same problem that you had with your Extenda-Wand where the handle was cracked and it broke during use. I will call them tomorrow morning and hopefully they will take care of it.

Besides for the above, this wand rules!!

Mike and others, this may be a good time to ask members that have used both coress wands and extenda-wands which they prefer. If memory serves me, a few weeks ago I believe a couple of folks were going to make such an evaluation. Any body tried both yet?

i have used the Corress wand and i am very happy with its construction,if it had the detent buttons it would be much easier to adjust in between heights(i have the telescopic one with twist lock) sometimes hard to get the connector tight enough with wet dirty hands.

That's exactly what I love about the extend a wand............gone are those days.

Its really steady too..............it doesnt feel like its going to bend in half like some do.

I have never seen or used a Coress wand, so I'm not sure how its performance compares to that.

Set me straight yall, whats the difference in the two ie price, where you buy them etc, the only one I've found is in the espec catalog called the telescoping lance, says it extends 8'-24', anything that can keep me off my ladder will end up in my truck.

Lots of companies sell extension wands, including Mark at Easyclean.

The "Extend A Wand" is a brand name, and is in my opinion stronger (doesnt flex as much and therefore easier to use) then the rest.........although, like I said, I never tried a Corress.

You can buy others, but, I have a 18' wand that when fully extended, it arcs so far its ridiculous..........makes it almost useless.

If you can afford it, go with the extend a wand.

can the x-jet be used with these things? if so, what about the draw while extended? iv'e been thinking about getting one because some homes are just a little to high for the x-jet on your standard wand.

Yes, you can use an xjet on the end of your extension wand........you just need to make sure your xjet hose is long enough to reach the bucket.

Personally, I have only used the xjet with the wand not extended (8' long) for applying chemicals............but sometimes I have used the xjet nozzle for rinsing when the wand was further extended.

I guess if you wanted to, you could put a 25' piece of hose off the xjet and try it from way up there, but I dont think that would be necessary.
